Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

ClientOS ("ClientOS", "we", "us") provides a done-for-you social media content service for small home-service businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

The short version: we collect the contact details you give us and basic usage data. We use them to deliver the service and to contact you about it. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected].

If you authorise us to publish on your behalf, we access only what is needed to schedule and publish posts and to read the resulting performance statistics. We do not read your private messages unless you explicitly ask us to manage your inbox, and we never post anything without your approval.

3. How we use your information

We rely on your consent for marketing messages, on the performance of our contract with you for service delivery, and on our legitimate interests for security and service improvement.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run ClientOS, and only to the extent they need it:

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, safety and property.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to understand how it is used, and to measure our advertising.

This includes the Meta Pixel, which tells us when a visit or sign-up came from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, and lets us show ads to people who have visited this site. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Facebook ad preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of this site work.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and content data for as long as you are a customer and for up to 24 months afterwards, so that you can come back without starting over. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your data, we do so within 30 days except where we must keep records by law.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale — and as stated above, we do not sell personal information. Residents of the EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

8. Email and unsubscribing

Every marketing email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link and our physical postal address, as required by the US CAN-SPAM Act. Replying with the word "stop" also removes you permanently. We honour opt-outs within 48 hours.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, restricted access to credentials, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you promptly if a breach affects your data.

10. Children

ClientOS is a business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. International transfers

We operate internationally and our service providers may process your data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use ClientOS after a change means you accept the updated policy.
